Inga Swearingen

Dynamic singer-songwriter, Inga Swearingen mixes her translucent voice with song rooted in family, nature, love and human spirit. An agile performer and improvisor, Inga studied vocal jazz at Cal Poly and finished her masters in choral conducting at Florida State University in 2005. During that time, she received her first invitation to appear on Garrison Keillor’s renowned radio show, A Prairie Home Companion, an opportunity that has led to over a dozen appearances on the show. Inga also won first place at the Montreux Jazz Festival Shure Vocal Competition, and now takes her signature songwriting, audience participation and teaching around the world.
