While we cannot guarantee that we will be able to change any bookings, please ask us and we will do our best to accommodate your need.
Refund until 30 April. Cancellation fee of $50 will be deducted from refund. After April 30, 50% refunds are available. From June 1 no refunds are available.
The Festival does not accept liability in contract or in tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events, which are beyond our control. We do not accept liability of acts, omissions or default from airlines, coach operators, hoteliers or other persons providing services in connection with your trip.
No animals allowed (other than guide dogs). Mobile phones are to be switched off. Punctuality is appreciated and teachers reserve the right to refuse admittance to latecomers if it disturbs the workshop.
While every attempt is made to present the program as advertised, Festival of Voices reserves the right to adjust the program if necessary. 
If any of the guest artists/conductors become unavailable, all participants will be informed and given a choice to continue with a new teacher or have a full refund. Where tickets have been purchased for various events, a full refund will be available if the event is cancelled. There will be no refund involved if any free events have to be changed or cancelled.
All sessions are booked on a first-come-first-served basis and a booking is not recognized until payment is received with the application form. Numbers for all sessions and events are limited and the Festival reserves the right to refuse a booking application when available places for each voice part are fully booked, and to refuse entry to any event when available seats are fully booked.

Tickets:
Discounts on tickets are available only for the time period and conditions specified in the discount offer. Tickets are general admission and there are no numbered seating allocations. Concessions are offered only to concession cardholders. Persons under 5yrs of age, primary /secondary school student and tertiary students are considered concession. (Tertiary students must provide their card.) When collecting tickets from the door of the venue or from the festival office, identification must be provided by the person whose name the ticket has been purchased in.

Ticket Exchange and Refunds:
Once booked, tickets cannot be returned or exchanged.
Tickets booked on line through Festival of Voices website will be posted using standard Australia post to the name/address nominated when booking. Tickets booked one week before the concert will not be posted but will be available at the door of the venue. Please see the policies of any ticketing agent contracted to deliver tickets for Festival of Voices events.Latecomers may be asked to wait until a suitable break in performance before they can enter venue.

Photography and Filming

Activities & performances at the Festival of Voices may be photographed recorded, filmed and/or videoed by The Festival of Voices (the 'Production Company').   By attending the Festival of  Voices you give permission for The Festival of Voices and its successors and that the Production Company will own any and all rights in said photography, recording, filming and/or video-taping and the participant now waives, as to the Production Company and its successors, assigns and licensees, all personal right and objections to any use to be made of such photography, recording, filming or video-taping, containing the likeness of the participant, for any and all media platforms including: cinema, website, new media, and television purposes, and performances thereof, accompanied by any narration, and dialogue, and the publicity and promotion in connection there with including and any and other trade and advertising purposes such as press, posters and printed literature in perpetuity.

Festival of Voices Privacy Policy

Festival of Voices takes the security and privacy of its customers very seriously. In all areas of collection, use and disclosure of personal information we adhere to the National Privacy Principles (NPPS) outlined in the Privacy ACT 1988.  Therefore, when we collect and use your personal information including financial information, we are bound by the NPPs.
The information we collect:
For workshop, concert and choir bookings the personal information collected will include: your name, contact details, number in your group, length of stay in Tasmania and financial information necessary for online payments.
How we collect information
Festival of Voices will collect personal information in a variety of ways, including by telephone, in person, by mail or by electronic means.  This may include information or statements that can be used to identify an individual.
How we use the information we collect:
Your contact details only (name, address, phone, email) will be recorded on our database mailing list to inform you of Festival of Voices programs, to advise you of any change of event and for our own marketing purposes.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Where we use our mailing lists to keep you informed about our Festival of Voices events, you may request a copy of the information we store or have it amended. You may request us to remove you from our mailing list by writing to us at: PO Box 4642 Bathurst Street, Hobart 7000, Tasmania.
Collection of financial information:
Where you are booking online for workshop streams, concerts, choir registration or merchandise we will collect personal information in order to process your payment through your credit card. We will also collect your contact details in case we encounter difficulties in processing the booking and need to contact you.
We do not store any of your personal financial information after the transaction has successful occurred.
Security
We have put security measures in place to ensure that your financial details are given maximum protection at all times. Our secure server ensures that your personal details stay secure, and that data being transferred has not been altered.

Every credit card purchase you make at our web site is done through our dedicated SSL certificate, which has the following features.

When you make a choir registration, workshop or concert booking via this site we need to collect information about you to process the transaction and to fulfil the order. By disclosing your personal information to us by using this website, by mail or by telephone, you consent to the collection and storage of your personal information, in the manner set out by this Privacy Policy.
