Adult Major Workshops are accredited units (12.5%) within the Diploma of Music Performance degree offered through the University of Tasmania’s Conservatorium of Music, one of our major Festival partners. HECS scholarships are offered to all participants, and therefore no HECS fees are charged for these units. Music and listening material will be sent to participant’s pre the commencement of the workshop, as well as additional reading that directly impacts the music to be performed. (International Students are not eligible for HECs or course fee subsidy and full fees apply). The partnership between the Festival of Voices and the Conservatorium of Music maintains the high quality of International Artists working with participants throughout the festival giving community choir members of many abilities a truly inspiring and challenging experience.
All major workshop participants must enroll with the Conservatorium of Music (UTAS), international students are exempted. Staff will be available at registration to assist with the paperwork.
